ACCIDENT AND INCIDENT INVESTIGATION

One-day course teaching managers how to react appropriately to accidents and incident

This course is designed to enable managers to react appropriately to accidents and incidents in the workplace and prevent a re-occurrence. Whilst having an accident in the workplace is unfortunate, an accident also represents an opportunity to learn. This one-day course will cover accident/incident investigation, investigation techniques, evidence collection and recording, RIDDOR, recommendations and action plans, and practical exercises to reinforce learning.

FIRE MARSHAL TRAINING

One-day course teaching fire evacuation procedures and the duties of the fire marshal

This course is designed for staff responsible for making the fire evacuation procedures for premises and those who are to carry out the role of a fire marshal. This one-day course will cover legislation, how fire works, landlords duties, fire marshal duties, fire prevention, and fire extinguisher identification.

RISK ASSESSMENT TRAINING

One-day course enabling all persons in the workplace to carry out a risk assessment

This course is designed to enable all persons in the workplace to carry out a risk assessment. This one-day course will cover legislation, what hazards are, how to avoid hazards, risk factors, principles of prevention, and syndicate exercises.

ASSESSING RISKS IN SCHOOL BEYOND COVID

Training course demonstrating how to check risk assessments and improve safety whilst also guarding against litigation, with specific risk considerations for 2022.

Delivered by a risk management expert in school health and safety, site security and educational visits, this interactive session will help you answer important health and safety questions with reference to real school case studies and incidents.

COMMUNICATING THROUGH A CRISIS: MANAGING THE MEDIA AND SOCIAL MEDIA

Interactive training session providing strategies and top tips to help schools manage the media, social media and communication with other stakeholders after a serious incident.

This online training course will be delivered by a crisis communications professional who has probably been involved in planning the communications response to more school-related serious incidents than anyone else. This 3.5-hour course will help you answer critical crisis communications questions with reference to real incidents and case studies faced by schools. This course also includes a realistic and interactive scenario exercise to reinforce learning.
