FREE Webinar for all school staff

When: Wednesday 8th December
Time: 4pm
Prizes include: A well-being twilight session with Sue Webb from Lotus Education for your school!

We will be joined by some incredible guests:

David Gumbrell - The Resilience Project

David is an author (Lift! Going up if teaching gets you down) and speaker on resilience and well-being and has been a teacher in Surrey for over 20 years, with 7 years as a headteacher.

Throughout his teaching career, he has always endeavoured to nurture an individual teacher’s career and to protect the well-being of pupils and staff.

The Resilience Project is a natural progression to this and he now offers a diverse range of opportunities to get a conversation on resilience started in your school or context.

This includes books, workshops and 1-2-1 support.

Sue Webb - Lotus Education

As a headteacher of an outstanding school, Sue spent five years growing individuals and teams, managing significant change, developing a values-based organisation and achieving excellent outcomes for all stakeholders.

After headship, Sue started her company, Lotus Education, to specialise in coaching leaders and staff within schools, as well as young people.

She focuses explicitly on what is at the core of the individual, team or organisation – supporting people to discover what is driving them forwards, what their motivators are – and what is holding their growth back.

A focus on well-being is a key aspect of Sue’s identity as an educator, a leader and a coach. Sue works hard on her own well-being – and she provides high levels of support for the well-being of others. Her aim is to help people of all ages and stages to grow and bloom through the ‘mud of life’ – just like the beautiful lotus!

Steph Reddington - Product Manager, Juniper Education

Steph has worked in education for over 20 years across both special and mainstream sectors and has taught all year groups from Nursery to Year 11.

Having held a senior leadership role and been a SENCo, Steph fully understands the pressures that teachers and school leaders face every day. She firmly believes that in order to be the best for our children, it is absolutely vital that teachers try and achieve a reasonable work-life balance so that burn-out can be avoided and they can be in the right frame of mind - feeling positive, energised and supported enough to be able to do the role effectively.

Steph is now a product manager at Juniper Education and she's determined that Juniper will be able to offer the software and services that can make a real difference.

Anna Gregory, Director of Curriculum, Juniper Education

After over 20 years in the primary sector, both as a teacher and senior leader, Anna Gregory set up her own business as an educational consultant.

She spent 5 years training schools in grammar, writing and curriculum design. During this time, she also delivered training in ITT/SCITT settings and a number of teaching schools.

Anna also spent time working as a teaching and learning coach. A role which encompassed both classroom practice and well-being support. In 2016 she began to develop The Concentric Curriculum, now Sonar Curriculum, an online curriculum design solution for the primary sector.
